This intensive event is open to anyone attending the Learning Impact Leadership Institute who want to gain knowledge of LTI 1.3 and LTI Advantage. Come with your LTI tool(s) and utilize IMS resources to upgrade to LTI 1.3 and begin hacking LTI Advantage tools with support from IMS technical staff. Participants will be the first to have access to IMS LTI Advantage development utilities to help institutions and suppliers transition to LTI Advantage. This is a great opportunity to network with other developers, programmers, engineers, UX/UI designers, educational technologist, and anyone working to advance IMS standards. Come with your own project or check out what others are doing. The hackathon starts with each participant or team delivering a brief pitch about their project, and then the hacking begins! Short, specialized topic mini-workshops will help you get started, address key changes in the LTI spec, and begin hacking with the three LTI Advantage extensions. The event wraps up with a showcase where projects are demonstrated.
