Breakfast will be available in Grand Ballroom 6. You can eat in that room before the start of the board meeting or grab a plate to bring with you into Grand Ballroom 10 for the board meeting.

8:00 Welcome & Introductions

8:05 Open Discussion of New Initiatives
The Board will discuss recent K-12 initiatives; this will be an opportunity for questions and feedback on the work.

8:20 K-12 ID
Achieving an overarching digital identity object model for students and educators will inform OneRoster and provide better alignment with other data standards impacting K-12 education. Hear from Bruce Umpstead, State Educational Agency Consultant for IMS Global, as he details the current design documentation for K-12 ID and the next steps for this exciting project!

8:50 Feedback and Observations
Working in groups, the Institutional Board will provide feedback, suggestions and ideas from their experience of the 2018 Learning Impact Leadership Institute. 

9:10 IMS Global Updates
In order to decide where to go, we need to know where we’ve been. The Institutional Board will be updated on the current and future work around specifications, privacy and data security, Innovation Leadership Networks and the K-12 Digital Revolution Program.

9:25 Board Priorities
The Institutional Board will identify and prioritize top initiatives for K-12 members as well as opportunities for growth.
