Building and Envisioning a Next Generation Digital Learning Environment

To provide a better experience for students, Penn State adopted an open source approach to their next-generation digital learning environment and how courses are managed, which envisions learning systems as a suite of tools. Instead of simply funneling learners back into an LMS, PSU created an ecosystem called ELMS: Learning Network where the traditional LMS is just one piece in the delivery of educational materials. Hear about the staff and learner workflows associated with this NGDLE and how it is changing the delivery and collection of content and learning data.
