Many adult learners try to use credentials to advance their goals, but the credentialing ecosystem is outdated and largely based on paper documents. Open standards organizations have collaborated on Extended Transcripts, Open Badges, and the Credential Registry. This session highlights how interoperability can help institutions improve their credentialing practices.
