While LMS-based learning analytics is compelling, what might we learn from the addition of eTextbook data? In this presentation, we'll share lessons learned from the combination of Blackboard's Caliper and LTI enabled products to mine a learning records store populated by UMBC students' use of Blackboard and VitalSource e-Textbooks.
