In the past few years, digital learning technologies have become mainstream for higher education institutions and K-12 school districts, with more than $12 billion spent on edtech in 2017 alone. With technology options rapidly evolving, educators and companies alike need to balance speed-to-market with durability of solutions. Standards help ensure that technology offerings are both 'future-proofed' and able to evolve over time. As a result, its more important than ever for technology leaders to understand (and be able to communicate) the critical role that standards play in the adoption, use, scaling and impact.  Join us for a lively session with industry thought leaders and entrepreneurs focused on edtech efficacy and credentialing, as we discuss how our industry can more rapidly deploy a plug-and-play ecosystem that works more seamlessly to instrument decision-makers and learners with the interoperable tools, metrics and credentials they need to advance.
