Security and Privacy are important considerations in Ed-Tech Systems.  IMS has recently released its new Security Framework to define a common approach for secure and private data exchange for all of its service definitions.  This security framework is already being used in LTI Advantage, OneRoster, and other IMS specifications.  This Panel Session will introduce the IMS Security Framework and discuss how vendors are using the framework to improve the security of the data exchanged by their products.
