Wichita State University saw an opportunity for microcredentials in the K-12 system. Many high school graduates are entering higher education lacking the basic library research skills necessary for academic success. In response, WSU developed and launched an online library research badge series during fall 2017. 282 Kansas high school students enrolled. The presenter will share the outcomes of this pilot program and how WSU is using the lessons learned to expand the program fall 2018.
